10月23日，長春亞泰主教練陳洋攜外援祖伊出席了賽前新聞發布會 ，“兩周間歇時間非常寶貴 ，可以給球隊的傷病球員一些調整和恢複的時間，也希望他們能夠以健康的狀態回到賽場上 ，為大家奉獻精彩的比賽 。”陳洋說。
今年8月，奧地利中場彼得·祖伊加盟長春亞泰，登陸中超 。“通過觀看比賽錄像，我們也知道北京國安是一支實力強勁的隊伍 ，他們有很多優秀的本土球員和外援 。但我們是主場比賽 ，會全力以赴做好我們自己 ，把比賽打好。”祖伊說 。
霜降之後 ，長春氣溫也逐漸降至零下。根據天氣預報 ，比賽日氣溫為10/-3℃，低溫下球員體能消耗大 ，對雙方來說都是不小的考驗 。
