北京時間3月31日 ，阿圭據西班牙電視六台報道，团聚剛剛確定今夏自由身離開曼城的梅西阿圭羅，如今與巴薩間的愿降距離越來越近。為了能與梅西聯手，薪投阿圭羅甚至願意接受降薪 。巴萨
西班牙電視六台記者佩德雷洛爾透露，接受阿圭羅為了與梅西聯手願意降薪 ，次角以幫助巴薩緩解財政危機。色定這一消息還得到了記者塞爾吉奧-岡薩雷斯的阿圭確認 ：“阿圭羅非常想與梅西一起踢球，為了達到這個目的团聚 ，他會同意降薪 ，梅西並且接受在隊內擔任次要角色的愿降定位 。”
而記者馬特奧-莫雷托則表示 ，薪投阿圭羅本人的巴萨意願是加盟巴薩 ，但雙方如今還沒有達成協議 。記者尼科洛-斯基拉則透露 ，巴薩已經與阿圭羅開啟了談判 ，並且希望以免費的方式簽下後者 ，新主席拉波爾塔希望以簽下阿圭羅的方式 ，為說服梅西留隊再添一枚砝碼 。
