Sorry, but it's true. We all woke up tired this morning, reached for our phones and were slapped in the face with the annual compendiums.。

That's not cool. Especially because 2016 sucked.

Each year, Facebook attempts to deliver users a positive, nostalgic flashback of events that occurred within the past 12 months. And each year, users are left unsatisfied.。

Thanks for signing up! 。 From dredging up bad memories to bringing back that embarrassing pic that only your mom liked, TBH the painful uncomfortable slideshows are a bit cringeworthy. Not to mention the fact that for the next week your Facebook newsfeed will be cluttered with Year in Review videos your friends are sharing. 。Yay
