據《天空體育》報道，英媒沙特財團收購紐卡斯爾的沙特收购消息即將官宣 ，紐卡將擁有世界上最有錢的财团足球俱樂部老板 。《鏡報》表示 ，幕后在入主紐卡斯爾之後 ，老板沙特財團第一件事就是资产換帥 ，孔蒂 、达亿穆裏尼奧都是英媒潛在的人選 。
英媒報道稱，沙特收购沙特財團預計以3億英鎊收購紐卡 ，财团而負責此次收購的幕后沙特公共投資基金擁有多達3200億鎊的資金 ，是老板曼城老板的10多倍 。
