“90年代初 ，日本遭遇經濟泡沫 ，日本足協直接去職業化改革超級聯賽 ，當初隻有10支球隊參加，堅持的原則就是寧缺毋濫 ，直到98年才擴軍到了18支球隊 ，當然人家的規則也是循序漸進的更改 。從最初取消升降級到掐死工資帽，最後實現俱樂部財政公開化 ，嚴格按照足球自身規律進行規劃改革 。”
“反觀中國足球 ，與日本是同時改革 ，如今是一地雞毛 ，現在各種問題頻出 ，摁下葫蘆起了瓢。再加上疫情影響，還想著擴軍，而不是思考如何穩住根基 、消除欠薪等問題 ，中國足協這波擴軍的改革真的是讓人看不懂 。”
