在當地時間9月7日晚卡塔爾多哈進行的张琳周后12強賽第2輪國足與日本隊的比賽中 ，張琳芃開場僅僅2分鍾 ，芃预就因解圍而傷退 。计两将伤經醫院方麵確認 ，参加其傷勢來自腰部 ，合练並伴有一定的李磊肌肉撕裂 ，不過總體傷情並不嚴重 。郭田據了解 ，9月8日，也就是中 、日比賽結束後次日，張琳芃已經可以獨立行走。
過去幾天，雖然中國隊代表團集體外出放鬆、調整 ，但張琳芃並未同行 ，而是留在酒店內休息。每晚，他都按時接受隊醫的治療 。當全隊當地時間9月13日晚赴室外訓練的時候 ，張琳芃在隊醫指導下 ，在酒店接受康複治療 ，並且在健身房內進行適度的恢複性訓練 。
據了解 ，張琳芃接下來還需要兩周左右的康複時間 ，隨後便可以正常參加全隊合練 。
另據了解，郭田雨 、王秋明 、李磊等曾經的傷號目前均已康複 ，對國家隊而言 ，他們無疑是及時而有益的“能量補充” 。
