在加盟巴黎之後 ，黎还梅西一度聯賽中長期無法進球 。不算在上周末中 ，强队梅西用世界波收獲了法甲生涯處子球 。梅西梅西表示自己如今已經度過了磨合期 ：“我現在感覺非常好 ，未迟我已經完全適應了巴黎聖日耳曼 。早会真正”

梅西今夏原本打算與巴薩續約，但因巴薩薪資空間問題而不得不轉投巴黎 。梅西表示自己未來肯定會回諾坎普 ：“未來某一天 ，我會回到巴薩 。如果能夠幫助到巴薩的話 ，我會非常樂於這樣做。”
梅西還盛讚巴薩新帥哈維 ：“在哈維的率領下 ，巴薩肯定會取得進步。作為主帥，哈維懂得非常多 ，而且他非常了解巴薩 。”
