“父親教我如何玩tranca（一種在南美非常流行的扑克牌女撲克玩法）” ，凱麗寫道，儿近“我被他打得落花流水，天状他還堅持要我清光手牌，大进並且還想拍下我尷尬的贝利病房樣子。在最近幾天，内玩他的扑克牌女病情前進了幾大步，有了很大好轉。”

在貝利第二次被送入ICU後，凱麗曾這樣表示：“對於接受手術的80歲老人而言，出現前進兩步後退一步的情況是很正常的。”如今凱麗表示貝利“前進了幾大步”，看來球王的康複情況的確值得樂觀。
