作為根寶青訓的代表球員之一 ，張琳芃如今葉落歸根重回上海海港隊 ，回到職業生涯夢開始的地方 。雖然出自上海崇明島的根寶訓練基地，職業生涯起步於上海東亞隊 ，但張琳芃卻在廣州隊功成名就 ，成為亞洲頂級後衛之一 ，將自己最美好的青春貢獻給了廣州這座城市 ，也與球隊結下了深厚的感情 。
對於他的離開 ，另一位已經離開廣州隊的退役國腳梅方也送上了自己的祝福，作為後防線上的搭檔 ，梅方在社交媒體上發布了一張兩人在訓練時的照片 ，並配文：好運 ，大芃 。（編輯 劉水土）
