Winning a Tony is a monumental achievement, but earning a thumbs up from the leader of the free world is pretty good, too.
Barack and Michelle Obama appeared on video to introduce a live Hamiltonperformance at the Tony Awards on Sunday. Viewers everywhere swooned as America's delightfully nerdy president sang the praises of America's nerdiest musical.

Michelle Obama had previously called Hamilton"the best piece of art I have ever seen in my life."
