北京時間3月11日淩晨，梅西在歐冠1/8決賽次回合的巴萨比賽中，做客王子公園球場的归正轨巴塞羅那1-1戰平巴黎聖日耳曼 ，總比分2-5遭到淘汰。留下賽後 ，梅西巴薩主帥科曼喊話梅西 ，巴萨認為阿根廷人應該看到了這支巴薩的归正轨進步 。
