In a bid to warn its civilians on the dangers of "excessive" civil rights, the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) uploaded a dramatic video that showed images of pre- and post-war Syria and Libya on Sunday.
But instead of striking fear in the hearts of Cambodians, the three-minute video titled "Using rights in an anarchic way" has been ridiculed after netizens spotted a major boo-boo.

A reddit user commented: "How the hell did that happen? Even a simple google images of "Libya" shows nothing like the skylines of Singapore."
The video which depicts how the once peaceful Syria and Libya were "destroyed by its own people", was part of the CHRC's effort to quell protest groups and crack down on dissent in the country.
According to The Phnom Penh Post, the head of CHRC, Keo Remy, has come out to say that the error in the video was unintentional and that it has been fixed.
“It’s not embarrassing. . . the young people on the technical team have never been to visit Singapore or Libya,” Remy said. “They searched Google for 'Libya at night time'. . . it’s not a big deal.”
Last we checked, the video still featured the image of Singapore's city skyline.
