And now we've got the photographic evidence to prove it.
Netflix has just released photos of The Crown Season 4, which stars a number of new additions to the cast. Namely, Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher, former UK prime minister, and newcomer Emma Corrin as Princess Diana.

Notably, Anderson's Thatcher is wearing blue — a colour associated with the Conservative Party, and one she favoured throughout her premiership.

As many will know, Diana's relationship with the media and the paparazzi was a difficult one.

It's also a time when the UK lives through divisive policies introduced by Britain's first female prime minister, and follows the lead-up to the Falklands War.
