《鏡報》援引《太陽報》報道稱 ，前终在紅魔訓練課快要結束時 ，乱乱朗尼兩名球員卷入了一場“全麵的曼联爭吵” ，而主帥朗尼克的训练反應是 ，命令其他“感到震驚”的课爆克被曼聯球員先行回到卡林頓訓練中心的更衣室 。
盡管球隊在上周六令人感到恥辱的冲突0-4慘敗給布萊頓 ，但這位63歲的迫提德國老帥還是給他的球隊放了四天的假期。但是前终當他的球員重新回歸訓練場時 ，衝突就這麽爆發了 ，乱乱朗尼曼聯的教練和其他隊友不得不將這兩名“上頭”的球員分開 。
曼聯本賽季的最後一場比賽要直到5月22日的收官日才會進行 ，對手是水晶宮，並且紅魔是客場作戰 。這同時也是朗尼克作為曼聯主帥的最後一戰 。
