武磊再次成為足壇的世预赛射手榜主角。北京時間11月17日淩晨 ，武磊位中國在12強賽中以1-1的球追比分戰平澳大利亞，武磊在比賽中罰進了扳平比分的平凯佩并點球 。
根據數據統計，恩德這是列第武磊本屆12強賽的第4粒進球 ，也是世预赛射手榜他本屆世預賽的第12粒進球 。FIFA（國際足聯）官方統計的武磊位結果顯示 ，武磊在本屆世預賽的球追總射手榜上已經追平了英格蘭當家前鋒哈裏-凱恩、荷蘭當家前鋒德佩 ，平凯佩并他們並列射手榜第二位 ，恩德僅次於阿聯酋的列第馬布庫特 。
