Apple just issued a Rapid Security Response for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, and that means you should update your devices as soon as possible.
Rapid Security Responses are urgent updates which are only issued when there's a critical security flaw in Apple software.
These latest ones, issued on July 10, will update macOS Ventura 13.4.1, iOS 16.5.1, and iPadOS 16.5.1. Additionally, Safari 16.5.2 on macOS Big Sur and macOS Monterey also got a security update.
Per Apple's release notes, the security hole in question in macOS, Safari, iOS and iPadOS allows "arbitrary code execution" when processing web content, meaning that a malicious website can potentially install malicious software on your device. Worse, Apple says it's aware of a report that the issue may have been actively exploited by hackers.
If you want to keep your devices safe, go to Settings and check whether there's an update available; if so, save your work and install the updates as soon as you can.
