搜狐體育消息 ，官方广州北京時間12月7日 ，郑智足球廣州隊官方宣布 ，出任鄭智出任一線隊執行主教練兼球員 。俱乐教练兼球
恒大公告 ：
經研究決定 ，部线即日起 ，队执鄭智出任廣州足球俱樂部一線隊執行主教練兼球員 。行主希望俱樂部全體教練員 、官方广州運動員及工作人員 ，郑智足球以強烈的出任榮譽感、責任感和團隊意識 ，俱乐教练兼球排除萬難 、部线刻苦訓練 、队执奮力拚搏 ，行主全力以赴完成本賽季的官方广州比賽任務 。
在卡納瓦羅離任後 ，廣州隊就一直由鄭智自發帶隊訓練。12月12日中超第二階段就將拉開序幕，廣州隊將在12月13日對陣北京國安 。
