時隔二十四年 ，吳孟達與江約誠能夠重聚西遊劇組實屬幸事 。大圣定档达携他們在《大話西遊》中飾演的月日二師兄與三師弟 ，絕對是新老西游喜上线影迷最喜愛的活寶之一 ，其無厘頭的人惊演繹風格令人深刻。如今再聚首 ，真假二人在角色上雖不再飾演八戒與沙僧 ，但那份熟悉的“師兄弟情” ，仿佛一直銘記心中，二人互動親昵無間 ，一同在戲裏戲外放飛自我~

經典西遊記中的“孔雀公主”金巧巧這次重返西遊題材，從青澀懵懂的孔雀公主進階為運籌帷幄的“孔雀王”一角，角色的升級蛻變不知又會對劇情的走向產生哪些影響 ？目前就新老角色之間是否存在聯係仍是謎團 。
