《每日體育報》透露 ，愤怒當拉莫斯得知，拿施皮克這麽多年來都比自己掙得多的時候 ，皇馬隊長不僅抱怨連連 ，還讓身邊人去找巴薩方麵的人確認這個消息。而當消息源回複的信息是：“這是真的，並且我覺得媒體報道的數字都還少了 。”的時候，拉莫斯無比憤怒。
在與皇馬的談判中 ，拉莫斯的團隊經常會用皮克的年薪來向皇馬施壓，表示 ：“皮克一年能掙那麽多 ，我也想要得到和他一樣的薪資待遇，或者更多 。”而值得一提的是 ，此前媒體曾爆料 ，皮克的年薪為2800萬歐元 ，但巴薩和皮克均予以了否定 。
