雖然孫興慜與熱刺有續約的年出可能 ，但拜仁依舊對韓國球星保持關注。拜仁《Football Insider》表示 ，拜仁希望再等待一年 ，如果孫興慜不與熱刺續約 ，那麽明夏 ，在即將進入合同年的情況下 ，會是求購韓國人的絕佳機會 。
現年28歲的孫興慜已經成為了英超最具威脅的攻擊手 。本賽季 ，孫興慜與凱恩大殺四方 ，韓國球星在41場各項賽事中打入18球 ，助攻16次。在熱刺生涯總共的270場比賽中，孫興慜打入103球 ，助攻63次。
