北京時間9月11日 ，长友據日本媒體“sponichi”報道 ，佑都由身已經34歲的将重加盟老將長友佑都（Yuto Nagatomo）葉落歸根 ，將返回老東家東京FC。回日
這個消息是本足FC東京的多名官員透露的 ，當地時間7月 ，球联長友佑都宣布離開法甲豪門馬賽 ，赛自目前是东京自由身球員 。當時長友佑都表示 ：“我主要會在歐洲尋找目的长友地，但是佑都由身考慮到2022年卡塔爾世界杯 ，也會（為了確保出場機會）選擇回到日本 。将重加盟”
長友佑都1986年9月12日出生於日本愛媛縣西條市，回日從東福岡高中轉到明治大學，本足並於2008年讀書期間就與FC東京簽約。球联2011年 ，赛自他轉會意甲切塞納開始了自己的留洋生涯 ，隨後下一個賽季他就加盟了意甲豪門國際米蘭，總計代表國際米蘭征戰8年 ，參加了170場正式比賽 ，此外他還曾經效力於土甲豪門加拉塔薩雷、法甲勁旅馬賽 。
