談到之前發文向蘇寧討薪一事 ，吳曦說道 ：“因為當時俱樂部也給一個薪資的诉求和解協議 ，所以我們球員比較相信俱樂部還有張董事長能夠妥善解決這個問題 ，任何但是吴曦看到國米奪冠後 ，我們國內球員的向苏薪国訴求還是沒有任何回應 ，所以現在隻能通過找律師這些渠道去爭取 。宁讨對於我們來說 ，米夺们的没我們也不知道該怎麽辦 ，冠后不是诉求我們造成的這些問題 。”
談到此前網絡上流傳的任何自己在街上跑步的照片，吳曦說道 ：“那天是吴曦上午 ，那時剛隔離結束 ，回到南京 ，因為是五一期間嘛 ，我什麽衣服都在上海 ，也不好穿以前俱樂部的球衣 ，而那件衣服可以讓我出更多汗 ，去保持一個心肺功能 。”
在談到申花目前隊內狀態最好的球員 ，吳曦提到了曹贇定的名字 ：“曹贇定是隊裏麵狀態最好的球員 ，教練組對他也非常期待。
在談到剛剛拿到英超金靴的孫興慜時 ，吳曦表示 ：“他肯定是亞洲頂級球員 ，世界層麵上也是頂級球員 ，這跟他從小到大的係統訓練 ，還有對自己嚴格的要求有很大的關係 ，他是亞洲所有球員的模板。”
