北京時間12月11日 ，郑智止合廣州隊抵達了廣州賽區酒店 ，有归员和廣州隊現任執行主教練鄭智接受了媒體的化球采訪 。
鄭智表示 ：“感謝國家的俱乐防疫 ，也感謝賽區給我們繼續比賽的部中比赛機會 。無論如何 ，同们踢完我們有責任把聯賽完成 ，郑智止合把中國足球扛在肩上 。有归员和也感謝球員 ，化球我在廣州效力了十年 ，俱乐無論是部中比赛老板還是球迷都對我有很多幫助 ，大家對城市 、同们踢完球隊都很有感情 。郑智止合我們自發歸隊訓練 ，有归员和在出現突發情況的化球時候 ，很多預備隊小孩也從外地趕回來，讓我們用好的麵貌迎接比賽 。有些歸化球員，因為和俱樂部中止合同了，具體情況我也不是很了解 。國腳們昨天才從上海回來 ，他們要先見一見家人 。大家看到了俱樂部的任命 ，不管什麽角色 ，我都有責任和球隊在一起 ，為了這個球隊 、城市 ，我們要把比賽踢完 。球隊現在還算正常 ，所有人訓練的程度參差不齊 ，有的回來早有的晚 。我們還是努力按部就班準備比賽 。”
