我要评论Hours after it was restored, U.S. president Donald Trump's Twitter account still struggled with technical issues, as its follower count dropped drastically to 4,000.
The account was shortly restored to its previous 41 million followers, but panic had already ensued.

About five hours after the account was restored however, Trump's follower base plunged to just 4,000 followers at about past midnight ET.

Bots or otherwise, it looks like it was just a caching issue that happens when accounts are deleted and then restored, according to Tatiana Oliveira Simonian, who worked at Twitter in 2013.
