因此，外界所關注的“梅羅”能否在世界杯賽場對決也有了答案：阿根廷在C組 、葡萄牙在H組，如果兩隊都以小組第一或小組第二出線 ，將會分在不同半區 ，隻可能在決賽相遇；如果兩隊出線的小組名次不同 ，那有可能提前在半決賽遇見 。
