北京時間2月16日，广州廣州隊今天官方宣布同五名歸化球員終止合同。队新顶万同時 ，赛季球隊內部今天下發了《足球俱樂部球員定編及薪資標準》的薪资线队通知 。
據該通知顯示：廣州隊一線隊球員定編30人 ，标准年薪將在稅前6-60萬之間 ，文件万封遠低於此前外界傳聞的曝光中國足協新限薪令的300萬要求。且僅有3名優秀主力才能拿到這一數字的主力年薪 。另外三檔薪資分別為主力 、起薪主力替補和替補 ，广州則分別隻能拿到42萬、队新顶万30萬 、赛季和14.4萬的薪资线队稅前年年薪 。
而除了一線隊之前 ，标准預備隊 、文件万封梯隊和女足的起薪則為36000元 ，根據廣州足球俱樂部的新方案 ，新賽季球隊一共隻有4支球隊 ，即廣州隊一線隊 、預備隊 、梯隊和女足 。
