《體育圖片報》表示 ，决裂萊萬對於CEO卡恩和體育總監薩利哈米季奇相當失望 ，拜仁因為二人並未在續約一事上表現出積極的续约態度。幾天之前 ，上糊施压萊萬曾與二人有過對話 ，弄莱拿哈但雙方間的兰德談話壓根就沒有涉及到任何細節問題 ，隻是决裂泛泛而談。並且在這次會麵中 ，拜仁哈蘭德的续约名字還被提及 ，挪威人是萊萬的潛在替代者之一 。
在這次會麵之後 ，萊萬認為拜仁對於自己並不尊重 ，管理層的行為是對自己這些年來的貢獻的一種不認可 。報道還指出，萊萬對於拜仁尋找自己的替代者一事也感到不滿 ，而這些都將成為續約的障礙。
33歲的萊萬與拜仁間的合同在2023年到期 ，波蘭前鋒希望拜仁能對自己表達明確的態度 。但在拜仁方麵看來 ，他們隻願意給萊萬開出一份續約1年的合同 ，而萊萬的想法是至少續約2年（合同2025年到期） 。此外 ，雙方在經濟因素方麵也從未達成過一致 。因此綜合來看 ，萊萬與拜仁續約一事似乎相當困難 ，而未來的幾周就有望明朗 。
