北京時間3月3日 ，英超據《曼徹斯特晚報》報道，声援英超聯賽官方宣布了在本周末的乌克比賽日中聲援烏克蘭 ，“展示團結”的兰铺計劃 ，其中包括當地時間周日進行的天盖曼徹斯特德比這樣的重要比賽 。
英超聯賽官方表示：英超聯賽與我們的地袖俱樂部全心全意的反對俄羅斯的行為 ，並將在本周末的标广所有比賽中表現出對烏克蘭人民的支持 。
我們呼籲和平 ，告板我們與所有深受其害的直播人們同在 。
從3月5日（周六）到7日（周一）的全上所有英超聯賽中，都可以看到對烏克蘭的英超聲援 。而在此之前，声援俱樂部已經以多種方式表達了他們的乌克支持 。
20名俱樂部隊長將佩戴烏克蘭配色的兰铺特殊袖標出場 ，在每場比賽開球前 ，天盖球迷 、球員 、教練 、比賽官員與俱樂部的工作人員們將一起進行反思與團結的活動 。
體育場的大屏幕將顯示 ：“足球站在一起” 。背景是烏克蘭國旗的藍色和黃色 。這些文字也會在比賽期間顯示在場地周邊的LED廣告板上 。
這種團結的信息將通過英超數字頻道被全世界的球迷們看到，播出平台上的LOGO和簡介也將更改為代表烏克蘭國旗的顏色 ，以上內容也同樣將在英國和海外的比賽直播中展示 。
