北京時間11月22日消息 ，曼联在紅魔客場1-4不敵沃特福德之後 ，年内球隊陷入了絕境。解雇隨後 ，任主曼聯官方宣布了主帥索爾斯克亞下課的帅共消息 。由於今年7月份 ，付解曼聯與索爾斯克亞續約至2024年 ，约金约万因此俱樂部解雇挪威教頭後 ，阔气需要支付一筆解約金給他 。曼联根據英國媒體的年内報道，曼聯將支付750萬英鎊給索帥 。解雇
據英國媒體《太陽報》統計 ，任主在弗格森爵士於2013年5月退休之後，帅共截至目前 ，付解曼聯在8年半的時間裏已經經曆了4任正式主帥：莫耶斯 、範加爾 、穆裏尼奧 、索爾斯克亞 。值得一提的是 ，這四位主帥均是在合同到期前離任 ，為此曼聯一共支付了大約3800萬英鎊的解約金 。
曼聯近8年內解雇的四位主帥 ：
1 、莫耶斯 ：2014年4月下課 ，解約金700萬鎊
2 、範加爾 ：2016年5月下課 ，解約金840萬鎊
3 、穆裏尼奧 ：2018年12月下課 ，解約金1500萬鎊
4、索爾斯克亞：2021年11月下課 ，解約金750萬鎊
