北京時間1月29日 ，知名轉會記者羅馬諾表示 ，英媒邀请英超俱樂部埃弗頓與藍軍名宿蘭帕德已經達成協議 ，兰帕蓝军“神燈”將成為太妃糖新任主帥 。教练英國媒體The 巴里Athletic報道，若成為埃弗頓主帥，辅佐蘭帕德有意挖角兩名教練 ，自己分別是挖老他帶到切爾西的功勳防守教練安東尼-巴裏，以及英格蘭代表隊的东家德或戰術助教的史蒂文-霍蘭德 。
