崔恒亮在個人社交媒體寫道 ：有關李霄鵬辭職的李霄說法 ，我了解的鹏别是 ，李霄鵬肯定不想辭職 ，去国他帶國足就打了這幾場比賽 ，足但扎进還沒有真正證明自己呢，还头火坑現在就辭職走人 ，媒体豈不是主動認輸？李霄鵬之前的說法是 ，怎麽也得帶隊打完亞洲杯再說。那現在如果李霄鵬最終辭職走人 ，那隻能是“被辭職”了 ，保留個體麵 。
當然，沒有足協的支持 ，李霄鵬本來也很難幹下去 。換句話說，他也許本來就不該去 ，當初去執教前 ，就有相關人物托人給他帶話，讓他別去 ，結果他還是一頭紮進了火坑裏 。
而據媒體人李璿老師消息 ，李霄鵬當時是被總局點名臨時接手的國家隊 ，時間緊任務重 ，當時李霄鵬說想先帶完12強賽的四場 ，讓領導到時視情況再看是否繼續執教 ，但總局領導的意見是讓他帶到亞洲杯 。（編輯：曉宇）
