Instagram appeared to be having issues on Thursday, with outages reported on Downdector from around 7:30 a.m. ET/12:30 p.m. BST.

Mashable staff tried the Instagram app in the U.S. and the UK and saw issues. In the UK, we were supplied with error messages reading "Couldn't refresh feed," though it actually seemed to be refreshing slightly.
All across America, Instagram users had un-refreshed feeds.Credit: screenshot: downdetector"We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing their Instagram," a Facebook company spokesperson told Mashable. "We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience."
