曼聯目前在英超位居第二位，但是距離榜首的曼城14個積分 ，而在英超的客場比賽中 ，兩隊的積分都一樣 ，都是30分 。因此這也意味著本賽季曼聯之所以落後曼城如此之多 ，與球隊主場戰績不佳有很大的關係 。目前曼聯在英超踢了13個主場 ，僅獲得21個積分 ，也是英超同時期英超主場積分第五多的球隊 。
