但皇馬被曝和羅納爾多沒有簽訂正式工作合同，战舰原因是在稅收問題上 ，沒有與大羅簽合同的話可以避稅 ，而且還不用將這部分收支報告給勞務委員會 。此外 ，卡洛斯還因為拖欠給自己子女的撫養費而得到了巴西聖保羅州當地法院的通知 ，但皇馬這部分錢直接從卡洛斯的收入中扣掉了 。
不過《馬卡報》表示：這些消息並不屬實 ，皇馬與羅納爾多等人的合作都是簽訂了正式的合同 。
