除去萬達之外 ，知集廣州的广州国脚兩家房企俱樂部目前則境遇各不相同，目前廣汽接手廣州城的队尚队球進展順利有序 ，預計本月開始就將向球隊開始注資 ，未线外其未通而富力很可能全麵退出廣州城的员沟運營 。另一方麵 ，通除在股改不順利的人均情況下 ，恒大決定獨自繼續運營俱樂部 ，知集1500萬一年的广州国脚運營費用不是全部給一線隊用 ，包括足校青訓在內的全部費用也都在其中 。
雖然近期官宣了幾個合作夥伴 ，但廣州隊因此獲得的讚助收益還無法達到對俱樂部的有力支撐 。從目前廣州隊集訓的球隊 ，就是足校隊 ，去年一線隊的隊員中 ，除去在海南集訓的國腳，其他球員均未被通知到隊集訓 ，隊裏也未就這些球員的去留與隊員有任何溝通 。而幾名老將 ，包括黃博文 ，梅方等等 ，已經公開半公開地做出了退役的決定 。
