當被問到是望和否會重回教練席時 ，勒夫表示：“在離任之後 ，接手渐我花了比較長的曼联時間來和足球拉開距離，並且確定自己的执教正渐方向 。現在 ，欲动力我感覺執教的望和欲望正在漸漸回歸，執教動力也在漸漸回歸 。”
“在德國隊執教這麽多年 ，離開後我必須要拉開距離 ，也需要處理很多事情 ，最後一場比賽讓我們所有人都有些失望 ，所以我需要一些時間來消化 。但現在我感覺很好了，很期待再次和足球一起工作 。”
