本場比賽女足隊長王珊珊也憑借優異的征女足重表現當選了賽事MVP ，在賽後發布會 ，新起王珊珊談到比賽時表示 ：“中場我們互相鼓勵 ，航想回国完全沒有放棄 ，吃好吃最終在下半場拚盡全力實現了逆轉 。王珊拿到勝利很自豪 ，這也是我第一個亞洲杯冠軍 ，感謝所有隊員以及教練組 。”
隨後 ，王珊珊表示 ，贏得此次亞洲杯冠軍，象征著新組建的女足團隊的重新啟航。“冠軍對中國女足來說是新的開始 ，通過女足亞洲杯 ，我們向全世界展現了中國女足的實力。”
