Redditor springmint5, however, found a way to get the last laugh and leave the standard two weeks notice with a simple letter to inform his employer that he would soon be leaving.
I just quit my job the best way I know how.But instead of typing up a letter, springmint5, real name Alex, went to the card aisle at his local shop and picked one out of the sympathy section.
"Even though you knew this time would come, there's no way to prepare you for this loss," the letter reads.
Alex then signed the card, making note of the two weeks and the date.
