談到賽前備戰情況 ，萨布始防守沧狮薩布利奇說道 ：“大家下午好，利奇今天是踢国端午節 ，祝各位節日快樂 。州雄聯賽今天就將開始 ，全力我們是萨布始防守沧狮梅州賽區最後出場的球隊 ，祝各支球隊好運。利奇今年仍是踢国賽會製比賽 ，對我們而言是州雄個挑戰 ，但我們已經準備好。全力同組其他球隊都很有實力，我們周日的對手是聯賽中實力最強的球隊之一 ，我們要踢好比賽 。”
蘇祖表示 ：“大家好 ，準備期很長 ，我們已經完全準備好了 。賽區其他隊伍都很強 ，我們會全力以赴 。”
當被問及踢國安時是否會以防守為主，薩布利奇回答道 ：“麵對強大的對手我們要做好各方麵的準備 ，但並不意味著我們從一開始就要防守，我們要做好自己 。”
談到炎熱天氣對球隊的影響時 ，薩布利奇說道 ：“我們的隊員都已經做好準備 ，近兩年的賽會製讓大家都適應了密集的賽程 ，我們會盡全力準備 。”
當被問及作為球隊後防核心 ，如何限製國安的進攻時，蘇祖回答道 ：“我的比賽經驗很豐富，有信心限製住國安的攻擊線。”
