另外，舒克拉拉此前三次吹罰日本隊的比賽 ，結果“藍武士”2平1負不勝 ，具體為 ：2011年11月 ，日本隊0-1小負朝鮮隊；2013年6月日本隊1-1與澳大利亞隊戰平 ，2016年10月日本隊與澳大利亞隊又是以1-1的結果戰平 。
另外，兩名助理裁判薩爾曼和阿卜杜拉同樣來自巴林，斯裏蘭卡的佩雷拉則擔任本場比賽的第四官員。（卓奧友）
