在C羅第一次為曼聯效力時 ，感谢给非弗格森爵士就將7號球衣給了C羅。卡瓦在加盟皇馬之後 ，尼把因為勞爾的号球緣故，C羅短暫披上9號球衣 ，衣让之後一直身穿7號球衣 。在轉會尤文之後 ，誇德拉多也是將7號球衣讓給了C羅 。另外 ，“CR7”也成為了一個價值極高的商業符號 。
