至此 ，時任尤文主帥的皮爾洛介入了這場談話 ：“夠了 ，我們走 。夠了 ，C羅 。夠了 ，誇德拉多 。”
“我們必須保持冷靜和耐心 。我們得繼續保持這種精神才行 。不要去做口舌之爭 ，拿出想贏的姿態來 。”
C羅的滿腔怒火似乎的確激勵到了球隊 ，他們最終以3-2逆轉戰勝了波爾圖 ，但是因為客場進球數的規則最終出局 ，這讓C羅幾乎當場飆淚 。
這位36歲的球員曾經5次獲得歐冠冠軍 ，在那個賽季結束後他就轉會回歸了曼聯 。這個舉動令尤文上下相當的不開心 ，因為C羅的轉會非常突然 ，斑馬軍團沒有時間來為此做出一些應對 。
