《天津日報》以“上海海港輸球又輸人”為題撰文 ，津媒文章表示 ，上海输人數據顯示 ，海港武漢長江（含前身）此前8次遭遇上海海港 ，遭遇戰績是棒输2平6負，中超聯賽中從未戰勝過對手 。球又這場比賽 ，津媒上海海港雖然以全華班出戰 ，上海输人但剛剛加盟球隊的海港張琳芃 、徐新和馮勁全部首發出場，實力相當強勁 。
上半時兩隊都有破門機會 ，不過誰也沒有把握住 。第43分鍾 ，徐新在拚搶中踹倒了胡靖航 ，裁判在觀看了視頻回放之後，對他出示了紅牌 。少一人作戰的上海海港陷入不利局麵 ，第71分鍾，武漢長江外援布魯諾頭球破門 ，打入了全場比賽唯一一球 。最終 ，上海海港0-1不敵對手 。
