阿賈克斯官網發布了一段感人的超巨視頻 ，向他們的曼联马上主教練說再見 ，視頻的新帅標題是 ：“在滕哈格的領導下，阿賈克斯在過去四年裏經曆了一些美妙的周走時光 。”
滕哈格對於曼聯的任滕新工作談到 ：“是的 ，我轉換的哈格毫无非常快。但這是疑问有必要的 ，因為有很多事情需要處理 。超巨”
“我確認我有精力在荷蘭的曼联马上賽季結束後直接繼續開啟在曼徹斯特的新階段 。我期待處理那些事情 。當然 ，我也需要在某個階段給我的電池充充電 ，但我會在期間為自己找到某個時間 。”
此外，對於葡萄牙球星C羅此前的示好 ，滕哈格給出了自己的回應 ：“C羅 ，毫無疑問 ，他是一個巨星 ！”
據《鏡報》爆料 ，滕哈格已經命令曼聯那些表現不佳的球員們 ，提前兩周回歸進行季前訓練 ，以確保他們處於最佳狀態 ，並貫徹他的比賽哲學 。
