Dippin' Dots, the alleged "ice-cream of the future," has a high-profile enemy in the new U.S. administration. 。
That would be Trump's press secretary, Sean Spicer. You may remember him from his press conference on Saturday complaining about the media coverage on crowd numbers at the inauguration.。
SEE ALSO:That didn't take long: Trump's press secretary is already a meme 。But as some internet sleuths have discovered, Spicer has a long-held vendetta against Dippin' Dots -- those little balls of ice-cream that accompany trips to malls or at a theme park -- as per his Twitter account.。
"Dippin dots is NOT the ice cream of the future," Spicer wrote back in 2010. 。

In an open letter online, Dippin' Dots CEO Scott Fischer hoped to placate Spicer's grievances by treating him and his team to ice cream.。
"We understand that ice cream is a serious matter. And running out of your favorite flavor can feel like a national emergency," Fischer said. 。
"We've seen your tweets and would like to be friends rather than foes. After all, we believe in connecting the dots ... We can even afford to treat the White House and press corps to an ice cream social. What do you say? We'll make sure there’s plenty of all your favorite flavors." 。
Spicer replied to the offer on Monday night: "Sorry for the delay How about we do something great for the those who have served out [sic] nation & 1st responders," he wrote on Twitter. 。
