北京時間9月1日淩晨 ，英超勁旅埃弗頓在官網宣布，大连东自球隊與中國球隊大連人達成協議 ，人外該隊的援龙由转龍東會加盟太妃糖 。需要指出的弗顿是，雖然龍東與大連人的签约合同在明年年底到期 ，但是两年此番龍東卻是以自由身離隊 。
埃弗頓希望引進新中鋒補強陣容 ，官方並與勒溫形成競爭 。大连东自埃弗頓主帥貝尼特斯在大連人執教時與龍東有過共事的人外經曆 ，而他也認為龍東的援龙由转加盟可以提升埃弗頓的進攻實力 。因此在過去的弗顿一段時間，埃弗頓一直與大連人就龍東的签约轉會進行談判 。
龍東此前效力於紐卡 、两年西布朗等多支英格蘭球隊 。官方2019年龍東加盟大連人，在加盟大連人後 ，他共出戰28次 ，貢獻14球7助攻 。上賽季，龍東離開大連人，租借效力莫斯科中央陸軍效力 。
雖然龍東與大連人的合同在明年年底到期 ，但是此番龍東卻是以自由身離隊 。據悉 ，埃弗頓與龍東簽訂了一份為期兩年的合同 ，而合同中還包括一年續約選項。
