They play Troy and Rose Maxson, a married couple living with Troy's brother and two sons (one by Rose and one from a previous marriage). In this short scene, from the very beginning of the story, Troy describes meeting Rose for the first time, all those years ago. 。

"I saw Rose and I latched onto her," Troy says. And what did she say?
