北京時間10月28日淩晨，巴萨西甲豪門巴塞羅那俱樂部官方宣布 ，新帅球隊主帥科曼下課 。已敲據巴薩跟隊記者羅梅羅報道稱 ，定球队传在科曼離隊後 ，奇哈紅藍軍團傳奇球星哈維接近回歸，回归他將成為球隊的执教新帥 ，雙方僅剩一些細節問題需要討論 。巴萨記者斯基拉也表示，新帅哈維將成為巴薩的已敲下一任主帥 ，合同將簽至2024年 。定球队传
RAC1的奇哈消息稱 ，巴薩董事會將在三名教練中進行選帥 ，回归他們分別是执教目前在卡塔爾薩德執教的哈維 、河床主帥加拉多以及巴薩B隊主教練巴爾胡安，巴萨目前哈維最接近這一位置 。
2019年，哈維開始執教卡塔爾的阿爾薩德 ，幫助球隊獲得了卡塔爾聯賽冠軍 、聯賽杯冠軍和超級杯冠軍等榮譽。科貝電台表示，要想回歸諾坎普執教 ，哈維必須與巴薩和薩德敲定協議，預計將很快能夠完成 。
