主教練萊科表示 ：“非常開心 ，工作昨天上海開始解封 ，海港疫情有所好轉 ，主帅做好最佳状态市民生活恢複正常。谈赛上海的季目疫情也是我們當下最主要的議題 ，封城對於我們隊影響非常大 。标先現在病毒散去 ，立足我們開始了正常的工作生活 。在疫情之下 ，海港足球不是最重要的話題 ，首要的是市民的身體健康 。”
在被問到本賽季的目標是什麽時 ，萊科表示 ：“海港是一個頂級俱樂部 ，過去和未來都是如此，但今年存在很多問題 ，因為疫情導致了這個情況 ，所以我們首先要做好在中超立足的工作，我們還遠遠沒有達到最佳狀態 ，還需要很長時間去恢複。所有人都需要去適應 ，今年和以往都不太一樣 ，要麵對的困難很多。”
“我們準備期非常短 ，球員有一些缺席 ，教練和工作人員也有缺席，而對手可能已經訓練了三個月 。但我們會盡全力去拚搏 ，有信心去克服困難 。我們仍然有信心去獲得一個成功的賽季 。”萊科說 。
在被問到奧斯卡和新球員馮勁 ，萊科表示 ：“馮勁到隊好幾天了 ，但他是否做好了準備 ，現在還很難說 ，正常需要5-7周的時間去備戰 ，他是會給我們帶來幫助的球員 ，也是很有實力球員 。包括其他幾個簽約，也對球隊進行了補強，但我們可能需要一個月左右的時間 ，才能恢複到本來的麵貌 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
