The player with the most votes from each country became the designated captain of their country's team; three more team slots were filled by the people with the next three highest vote totals. The remaining two slots were picked by the team's captain. 。

Teams without many competitive players will have a very difficult time making it to the playoffs in November; each region has a single-elimination online qualifier to determine who makes it through.
